Abbot Dayspring School is a day and boarding co-educational school established in Ipaja area of Lagos state, Nigeria with a conducive learning environment.
The school is approved by the Lagos and Ogun States Ministry of Education, WAEC and NECO.
The school believes in encouraging and assisting pupils/students to be the best. We adopt a system that gives overall optional performance to provide a solid educational bedrock to enable pupils/students to follow a “do it yourself” principle. This helps them to be able to stand independently in the future as they are taught to make maximum use of their time and other available resources. We’ve since been practising a special teaching programme to help dull and backward children in resolving their peculiar differences.
The educational style of Abbot Dayspring School is a combination of discipline and warmth. Staff/Student relationship is mature and friendly. Pupils and students are expected to work hard, play less and maintain a balance in relationship with their peers.
As an institution where the reading culture is given high priority, we provide an environment that encourages constant study.
The name “Dayspring” which means the springing up of light depicts the vision of the school to bring educational light to the darkened world.
The school life is complemented by a structural and purposeful framework for social and emotional development to build a complete child and eventually a fulfilled society.
